Dr. JULIO HANSON

Julio Hanson is an educator, entertainer, and well-traveled polyglot from Inglewood, CA who serves as an Assistant Principal with LAUSD. Concurrently, as an active member of SAG-AFTRA and the Robey Theatre Company, he appears in film, TV, and stage productions, and has performed with Grammy-recognized artists Toni Braxton, Prince, Kelis, and La Ley among others.  He also serves as Creative Consultant and Co-Director of the Panama Mola Pollera Tambor folkloric group.  Julio obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree at UCLA in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations, and also holds a Bilingual Teaching Credential from California State University-Dominguez Hills, a Masters of Education and Administration from California State University-Los Angeles, and recently received his Doctoral degree at Pepperdine University with an emphasis in Organizational and Entertainment Leadership. Julio is excited to join the Advisory Council of The Young Shakespeareans.
