Students who demonstrate commitment and maturity in TYS Programs are selected to join TYS as paid Student Employees where they learn and practice the basics of professional comportment while assisting TYS Teaching Artists in their chosen specialty, and serve as models and mentors for younger students. Includes interaction with Industry professionals to support additional, outside networking opportunities.
WORKFORCE
Age 14+
Through collaborations with administrative agencies including Para Los Ninos, The Shakespeare Center Los Angeles (SCLA), UCLA Community Youth Programs, and others,
local Employment Workforce Development Departments (EWDD) award generous stipends for High School students to study with The Young Shakespeareans.
