DALLAS WEXLER FIELDS
Dallas is a scenographer, facilitator, and educator whose practice is rooted in holistic, hands-on experience and critical thinking ranging from traditional theatrical design to immersive installation. As Assistant Director of Performing Arts at LA's Laurence School, she implemented a theatre tech/design program for elementary level students, and in London worked with Hackney Shed, a youth theatre charity supporting young people with special needs. She founded LA LA LAB to facilitate collaboration among multi-disciplinary artists in London and created performances for the Victorian & Albert Museum, Royal Stratford East, and Hackney Showroom; in Los Angeles she has designed set and video productions for Casa 0101, Company of Angels, and Highways Performance Space. Dallas holds a B.F.A. in set and video design from California Institute of the Arts and an M.F.A. with Distinction in Scenography from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
